Therapy starting to walk after a week great team

My mother was placed here after her stroke. The facility is run down and the care is hit or miss depending on which under paid, over worked care taker is on shift. Since my mother was placed there I have experienced 2 other nursing facilities and this one still ranks as one of the worst we’ve experienced.

I’ve veen working with Gavion and Jaynie and feel so close to them. They are great therapists and the team has given me confidence in myself! Thank you OT & PT!

If it had not been for rehab team,I would not have recuperated. They are the most positive and dedicated group of people I have ever encountered in my life.

The Therapy Team has been the most generous team in this facility. They help me in all the ways I needed during my recovery.

Ian, Edgar, Karla, Mega and Hanalee are the best team in this facility. Therapy has really helped me get closer to my goals.

The physical therapy department is amazing! Jonathan has done an incredible job with helping me reach every goal in learning to walk again. The therapists are professional and very knowledgeable who create a fun atmosphere. I would recommend Loma LindaPost Accute to everyone.

The whole team in rehab is wonderful. I couldn’t have asked for a better crew to help me get strong to be able to go home. Shout out to Geo and Janie as well as Jonathan.

My Significant Other was living at Loma Linda Post Acute. She really liked living there. She thought the food was great! The nursing staff were awesome! The Director of Nursing, Edna, was awesome! She encouraged me to stop by at anytime. She went above and beyond for us. When I first walked into the rehab facility, it had a great smell! That says a lot about any Post Acute facility. I was always impressed with how clean it was every time I visited. One day when I will need care in a rehab facility, Loma Linda Post Acute, will be my choice.

I am/was a resident of this facility I’m currently in Linda Valley Care Center. I’ve been here for about six weeks. I’ve been in three of them here in the Redlands Valley, and this has been the best caring facility I’ve seen. They’re very attentive. It runs like a machine. Everybody’s got a job to do, and they do it, and everybody’s happy. This care center here is pretty good. They’re really out there for you. Everyone’s helpful. My room is a shared room. It’s a very welcoming place, well-kept, very clean, and the staff is constantly cleaning. The people have a lot of compassion. The food is excellent. It’s been completely remodeled, freshly painted, and everything works. You get what you pay for.

My experience here has been so amazing. LVN Laurie always takes care of me and my roommate. Therapy has been splendid, especially with Gio and Jonathan! PT is so awesome!

The rehabilitation team, 🏋️💪 is awesome, 👍 i worked with thanks to John, Jaynie and Megan, i feel blessed to have them working with me and the other residents should too!!!

Everything is very good, especially Therapy. Gio and Jonathan have been very helpful in my recovery. CNA Ashley is also very helpful to me and my roommate.

Everything is good. Very helpful in finding and doing the exercises I need to do. Gio is very good in coaching me for PT.

A family member was placed here. For the most part the CNA’s and other patient-caring-level staff were very good, friendly, and professional. However they are probably overworked. My family member often waited over 30 minutes to get a response after pushing his call button. The social worker is awful – rarely returned my calls and was difficult to meet with. I was told the facility applied for mediCal on his behalf, but almost 2 months later I got a call from MediCal case worker and it had not been submitted correctly, nor on the date I was told it had been submitted. Discharge was a disorganized mess. No one knew what was going on – family members got the run-around and opposing information. Edna, the head nurse, was helpful and kind, but it didn’t seem like the social worker or other management staff had communicated with her. Overall, I would not recommend.

Okay this is Larry Taylor I’m in the gym and what I’m message I’m about to leave you is very good as far as I’m concerned all the men and women in the gym have taken total total good care of me I would recommend the gym to anybody that especially the people that are in bed and not sure it’s done one hell of a lot for me and I’m very happy with everybody and I want to thank you very much for having a good staff

I NOTARIZE lots of documents here. Very professional people here and the patients look and sound Happy.. We normally do Many Power of Attorney and Advance Directives..

A few CNA’s had been verbally abusive to me. When a complaint was made, instead of reassigning care delivery by replacing assigned CNA; instead I experienced a confrontation with the CNA (“Song” a Filipino woman) who angrily confronted me + my family member. When I asserted a want to pursue a complaint with “Ombudsman for long term care” we were told onsite social worker would schedule a visit… EVERY visit scheduled by “Ombudsman” so conveniently for facility ‘just happened to councide

The Physical Therapy team has been awesome, helping me increase strength and stamina after a 10 hour “Big Surgery”… #OneDayJaw – necessitated after water damage, mold & mycotoxin induced cancer diagnosis. 😭 All PT team members have pushed, gently, and encouraged me to do more each session. The kindness, dignity & professionalism – and homey atmosphere is much appreciated and helpful under some particularly dire circumstances. 😀 The Speech therapy team is also awesome and a highlight of this part of my journey back to health.😊 The nursing staff has been kind professional and attentive. A few in particular have exceeded expectations and comfort and care 👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️🧑‍⚕️ The transition from hospital to here was less than stellar a few weeks ago but the Loma Linda Sub Acute Care worked diligently to get matters on track. 👍 There will definitely be a chapter in the book I aim to write for and about boomers with health challenges and maneuvering through the system with optimal results. Love one another like there is no tomorrow 🦅 #InGodWeTrust

I am very fortunate to be here! The care from housekeeping, CNA, nursing, PT, and all the staff have been professional yet caring. Laurie from respiratory has gone above and beyond! Adriana, activities director has been godsend with all her activities she has provided for the patients. Her and her staff brings a sense of kindness and home, such as the Mother’s Day lunch she prepared ON HER OWN! We had music from Star not to mention the soup was fantastic!!! I strongly recommend the Loma Care Center.
